The S4S engine is a 4-cylinder diesel engine under Mitsubishi, known for its efficiency and reliability in industrial applications.

This engine has a total displacement of 3.331 liters and is equipped with a four cylinder inline configuration, naturally aspirated. Therefore, the complexity brought by the design of the turbocharging system is avoided, and the reliability is increased.

Despite its simple structure, the S4S engine can reach a speed of 2500 revolutions per minute and a maximum of 62 horsepower.
